| Note: Rather than scan individual pages from this directory and post them as images, I have elected to use OCR. To improve searching, dittos have been replaced by the intended word or words involved. Also abbreviated street names have been replaced with the full name for the same reason. Pages then have been proof read to minimize the problems of OCR. Suspected mispelling of proper names have been left rather than assume them to be incorrect. Accidental omissions, entries made too late for proper placement, and other such errors as are outlined at the rear of the original 1824 directory, have been corrected and noted in this digital version.
